Suits as perfect together as you are
As well as traditional weddings, Hemingway also regularly cater for same sex civil partnerships and gay weddings where, often, both parties enjoy the feel and style of a tailored wedding suit. It is the one life event where pretty much everyone you like and care about joins you in a day of ceremony and celebration, so you want to make sure that you are looking and feeling your very best.
Important decisions
The first decision is around budget. Would you like to treat yourself on this special occasion with a beautifully crafted handmade bespoke wedding suit? Or, with budgets spiralling elsewhere, is the comfort and style of a made to measure suit the more pragmatic option.
The second decision is over the style of wedding suits. Are you looking for a 2-piece or 3 piece wedding suit? Are you looking for a traditional morning suit? Are you getting married overseas and looking for a beach wedding suit? Or are you very specifically looking for a colour or shade, such as a grey or a cream wedding suit?
The third decision is whether, as some grooms choose to do, you would like to treat the best man or even the whole wedding party to a suit which fits in with the style of the day. It is a wonderful gesture of thanks that is always highly appreciated. We offer special wedding packages for parties of five or more people.
The process
At Hemingway, as your wedding tailors we want to ensure that your special day is absolutely perfect for you so we would suggest, in the first instance, a no obligation consultation with one of our wedding tailors to talk you through the various options available to you.
We can advise on whether to go for a bespoke wedding suit or a made to measure option and explain the differences between the two. We can guide you through the cloths, styles and personalisation options (you can have a commemorative date of the happy day permanently woven into the lining or fabric) and give you an idea of costs for your perfectly fitting wedding suits.
We would then need to set some dates in the diary, particularly if dealing with multiple members of a wedding party, so that our wedding tailors can carry out the initial measurements and required figurations, followed up with appropriate fittings at a convenient location (please see bespoke and made to measure process, click here).
Typical timescales for made-to-measure are 8 weeks (minimum) and for bespoke 14 weeks (minimum).
