Meet Our Master Tailor
Toby Luper has tailoring in his blood. From helping in his father’s factory as a boy to joining the family business at 19, he developed his craft alongside generations of Leeds tailors and built a deep understanding of fit, cloth and construction.
Today, Toby still works personally with every Hemingway client, guiding each piece from the first consultation through to the final fitting and collection.

It starts with a personal consultation at our Leeds studio, where we talk through what you need, how you want it to feel and the occasion, if there is one. Free parking is available right outside the studio.

Choose from an extensive collection of cloths, linings and finishes, then refine the details, from lapels and buttons to pockets, cuffs and everything in between.
Measurements & Fitting
Measurements & Fitting
We take your measurements and guide you through the fittings needed for your chosen service, refining the balance, shape and fit as your garment comes together.
Collection
Collection
Once everything is finished, pressed and checked, your garment is ready to collect from our Leeds studio, fitted to you and made to be worn for years.
